Seeking motivated and highly skilled Registered Nurses or Practitioner to join the team at OneWelbeck Orthopaedics, an exciting start up facility in Central London

OneWelbeck Orthopaedics is part of the OneWelbeck development. OneWelbeck consists of a group of linked but operationally independent day centres located across seven floors at 1 Welbeck Street.
Future plans include development of other centres in the UK and internationally.
OneWelbeck Orthopaedics was founded by a group of leading consultants with a goal of developing a unique musculoskeletal offering in Central London near the Harley Street medical area.
The Orthopaedic Outpatient Centre will include 8 consulting rooms, ultrasound suite and a treatment room.
Procedures will be performed in the purpose built 7,000 square foot surgery centre that includes 3 laminar flow theatres
Opening is planned for Q3 2019
Works collaboratively with the Orthopaedic Outpatient Manager and the healthcare team to deliver high-class patient care and experience
Assist with injections, including diagnostic and local anaesthetics and the delivery of ultrasound guided injections
Perform phlebotomy for analysis and testing.
Assist with fitting supports, including crutches, shoulder slings, immobilisation boots and braces
Provision of post procedure wound care – e.g. application of vacuum pump dressings, bandage changes, removal of stitches, staples and steri-strips.
Provide patients with information regarding post procedure care and expectations, including instruction on wound care
Application and removal of casts
Provides comfort and reassurance to patients and ensures privacy and dignity
Documents accurately, legibly and in a timely manner, follows policies and procedures
Organises activities, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient patient experience
Assists with supplies and equipment inventories to maintain stock level and availability
Actively participates in Quality Assessment and Performance activities
Registered Nurses with current NMC (essential)
A minimum of 1-year post registration experience in an outpatient setting (essential)
Experience in fitting supports, including crutches, immobilisation boots and braces (desirable)
Experience in delivering or assisting with delivery of diagnostic and ultrasound guided injections (desirable)
British Orthopaedic Association/Royal College of Nursing/Society of Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing/AOT Certificate in Casting Techniques (BCC) (desirable)
Excellent organisational skills
